Ash yawned as he cleared out a classroom in the basement, well by clearing out he was actually just pushing (or throwing) stuff to the side leaving the door free of any clutter. He breathed in deeply then stretched off his muscles so he wouldn't pull or tear something with working out. Moving all those old desks and cleaning the cobwebs and dusting everywhere was hard work but was a good warm up, he had been at it for about a week and had spent the past couple hours finishing it.
The pureblood mage grinned as he inspected his handiwork before he walked over to the guitar case by the door and opened it to reveal two sheathed katanas. The sheath and the handle wrap were black as well as the circular guard. He pulled them out of the guitar case with the belt they were attached to and after buckling the belt to his black leather trousers he closed his eyes and pictured a battle, the smell of blood and the taste of iron in the air, the screams of the dying and the those lost to the bloodlust and the sounds of weapons ringing.
He suddenly jumped into the air as an imaginary enemy attacked his legs with a sword. Delivering a kick to the face of his opponent he drew a katana its blade as black as the rest of it and decapitated him and in the same movement spun the sword and impaled a guy behind him. His movements never stopped, he was as fluid as the water he controls, his attacks well practiced, quickly executed and graceful, even when he drew the second sword you would have missed it if you had blinked.
Ash slid the blades back into their sheaths as he ran at a wall, his next actions already in his mind as he used an old desk as a spring board and landed in the middle of a group of his enemies with the palm of his right hand on the floor. With a roar he poured his energy into the attack and several spikes of ice shot up from the floor impaling his targets.
He remained in that position while he caught his breath, his heart pounding and his ears filled with the roaring of his pulse. It was then he heard the door open and moved his golden eyes to the invader.

You wouldn't believe how much daydreaming could get you in trouble.. It certainly got Korii lunch detention. Yep. It looks like even a cute face and innocence intents didn't mean squat as long as you don't get information being taught in class. Korii sighed. It hasn't even been two weeks to and he already had a few teachers watching out for him.
He dragged his feet and dared not to have his bright crimson eyes meet his environment for fear of...fear itself? An underground classroom and being in trouble, being forced to sit there for a few hours and have your imagination go wild. It was torture. Korii shuddered and hugged himself as he continued to venture down to the assigned classroom.
Wait! Korii's head twirled around fast as his eyes came across a room. What was that sound? His imagination was getting riled up and his thought process stumbling every now and then. Korii felt his invisibility gift start to kick in by default. His image wavered and his body became see-through.
"W-Who's there?" he called out nervously before peering into the classroom to see a person, or was that a thing? He couldn't tell with the dim lighting. He bit his lip before he felt himself completely disappear to the naked eye. Oh..well this isn't exactly the time to disappear... Korii let out another sigh before looking up and seeing how the, hopefully, living being would react to his presence. [/size]

Ash grinned as he heard the nerves in those words, the words of another guy was it? But he couldn't see him, a ghost? Nah it can't be, why would a ghost open a door? Unless it was a weird one. He shrugged, What did it matter? Whether it is a ghost or man or thing. I'm gonna have fun with it anyway. Ash smiled and stood up as he chuckled, "Bit rude is it not asking who I am when I cannot see you. Reveal your self." he said in his thick Scottish accent, "I promise I will not eat you... Well eat you right now. I'm not quite hungry at the moment."
"Fill this room with your light, give us this boon and end our plight." he whispered quietly enough that the other person wouldn't hear him as he took put his and and pointed it at the center of the room. As a gentle white light filled the room from a ball the size of a football at the ceiling in the center of the room, it gave a chance for Ash to see his ice spikes and he must say they were rather impressive, floor to ceiling and sticking out in every direction... he was stuck in there. Well he would be if he couldn't melt the ice. The imprisoned male turned his eyes as black as hos clothes and smiled, "So then who are you to come before me?"

'I don't wanna be eaten...' Korii thought to himself, 'even if it's not now..' His lower lip had been pushed out involuntarily into a pout while his eyebrows knitted together. Before he could contemplate too much, a blinding light dazed him. Korii screwed his eyelids shut and shielded his eyes.
When the shine died down, he opened his eyes just a crevice and peered to the now lit room with curiosity. It wasn't as bad as he thought it was. It appeared like it was just another student that went to the school. So Korii safely assumed he wasn't going to be eaten after all. The room, on the other hand, looked like it had been cleaned out yet there were giant spikes of ice emerging from various areas. A little creepy.
"A-Ah! Umm.. I'm Korii. Korii Conrad but you can call me Korii or Dazer.. heh," the boy stumbled over his words like he stumbled over flat surfaces.
He looked at his hands which were slightly visible now. The outline of his silhouette and maybe a dash of dull coloring was all that was now visible of Korii. At least it seemed like the invisiblity was beginning to waver.
"Um..I can't really..'reveal' myself. I'm a little new to this whole magic business and invisibility is just one of my abilities I can't quite control yet," Korii admitted with a sheep-ish voice and scratched the back of his head nervously.
Korii took another glance around the room. 'Oh! That's where all the magic useage was coming from.. Hmph, silly magic radar..' Korii smiled seeing as he seemed to have been enlightened with a new fact.

Ash raised his eyebrow as the boy spoke, quite... annoying really. Jeeze a guy shouldn't have trouble speaking, sure Ash cannot flirt but he doesn't stumble over his words. Now this is interesting, he thought seeing the boys outline, an invisible guy who cannot stay visible or invisible. "Guess you don't peek at the girls when they are changing huh? Well at least not yet." he said and chuckled, his eyes turning gold as he placed his hand on the ice, feeling the cold take over his hand making it numb and work it's way up his arm, he went a bit overboard with the cooling down thing, the ice is far below the freezing point of water. "Oh joy more wasting energy heating it all up..." he sighed and a small hole appeared in the "prison" as he vaporised the ice, the sizzle of the water loud and violent.
The hole steadily got bigger and bigger until Ash had made an archway that he just walked through. "So then little Korii what are you doing all alone down here? With the things that go bump in the night? Have you been a bad boy?" he asked and chuckled as he wandered over to a desk and sat on it, one leg hanging over the edge and the other with his foot flat on the desk with Ash leaning on his knee. "Do a guy a favour will you and toss that guitar case over here."

Korii shook his head at the man's statement of the girls' locker room. The cliche' situation of taking advantage of it. Korii wouldn't do that though. For one, he just wasn't that type of guy. He was asexual for Pete's sake... Then there was the traumatic events he had suffered when he accidentally walked in on his older sisters while they still lived back at home, when they were all younger. He shuddered at the remininsces.
The boy's crimson eyes watched contently as the man seemed to cause the ice to melt and yet the melted version of the ice never appeared. It seemed like he was just disspelling it all. The small use of magic, natural or not, gave him a buzzing sensation about his whole body. It wasn't quite uncomfortable.
Korii nodded vigorously before grabbing the said guitar case with both hands. He hesitated, unsure of how far he could throw the object. He shrugged before just giving it a lucky heave in the man's direction.
"I wasn't...necessarily bad," Korii said with modesty, "I was simply daydreaming. What are you doing here, if I can ask, Mister...?"
That's right. Korii hadn't received an alias to call the man yet. He couldn't help but go off into a small daydream. The student in front of him had black hair, lengthy but not long. He seemed much taller than Korii himself and if Korii wasn't just imagining things, the man's eye color had changed. ....Korii tapped the end of his chin in a steady tempo.
'Nope! No one seems to have any rumors about him going around.. Ah! Korii broke out of his daydream with a startle.
"Would you happen to know my sister? Or sisters? Carmen and Kora Conrad? You look like you'd be in their former," Korii recalled. Carmen was a fourth former now and Kora a third former. He had yet to see them at school yet. Something he wasn't exactly proud of.

Ash reached his arm out and caught the guitar case and set it on a desk beside him, a faint clink of glass hitting glass, "Daydreaming young Korii? So you were ignoring the teacher or something huh?" he said and laughed coldly, "Such a bad child you are. I assume that is why you get called Dazer?"
He reached into the case and unzipped the three pockets inside and removed three things from the guitar case, a small glass vial, a pack of rice paper and a small white ball about the size of a large acorn attached to a small rod of wood. He then drew a katana and placed it gently across his thighs with the blades edge pointing away from him, he then ran a piece of rice paper across both of the flat sides of the blade. He looked up at the mostly invisible boy at his question as he picked up the ball on a stick and tapped it up the edges of the blade and used more rice paper to gently rub up the sword, his movements automatic. There was almost no chance of him cutting himself, "Your sisters? Nope don't know them. You don't need magic to be invisible kid. You just have to wear black and ignore people."
After he was done with the ball he un corked the glass vial and dibbled a little oil of both sides of the blade and used a third piece of rice paper to work it in before sheathing the blade. "Want a go?" he asked as he flicked his eyes to the boy.

Korii blushed and nodded at his assumption and continued to watch the man navigate around the complicated areas of content on the guitar. He watched in amusement as the man's movement looked like fluid water. Korii's figure faultered, going completely invisible then going fully before heading right back to the middle again.
" 'Want a go?' ..What do you mean by that?" Korii asked in confusion.
Was he asking to fight? Or was he implying something else. The whole word play thing confused him. His head couldn't help but hurt and give a slight spin. Korii's vision went a little hazy. Maybe it wasn't just from the confusion but from the altitude drop from the surface to the underground classrooms.. Or maybe it was because of all the unknown fumes and fungi.
Korii bit his lower lip and leaned his weight on the wall so even if his legs gave in, it looked like he just went to sit on the floor.
"Ah! You never did answer.. What are you doing here? Ah! What's your name too? Heh...that'd be helpful," Korii asked, though not as polite as when he first questioned. Korii covered his nose and mouth with a hand so if it was because of fumes or something, it wouldn't, hopefully, affect him as much.
Finally, Korii's invisibility seemed to give out. His body became completely visible as well as solid, not like it wasn't before.

Ash watched the kid flicker with his yellow eyes and grin showing his amusement, "Kid you ever though that you can't control it cause your mind wanders? Have you ever really tried to control it and not spend a few seconds willing until you get a headache and nothing happens, but sitting with someone, relaxing and focusing on your goal. They other person could tell you when you go poof so you wont have to look at yourself." he asked him and grinned, "Then we could test and try to develope yoru powers. From my experiance the are rarely a one shot deal. I could only pour water from a bottle into a glass with lots of hard work and energy and now i can do that scary looking ubericeical in the corner."
He drew the katana and held it out to him hilt first, "Have a go at cleaning the blade. Who knows I may hire to to be my squire." he told him with a laugh. He made his lips thin as in he was angry then his eyes slowly turned black like someone dripping black ink drop by drop into a tiny amount of water until it went completely black, "Now did you not think I didn't answer you cause I didn't want to tell you." he said coldly and harshly as he stood up and looked down on the kid. He tehn laughed and his eyes went yellow again and and grinned, "And do you really need me to spell out what I was doing in an old classroom, with a large area cleared out, with swords and ice spikes?" he asked raising an eyebrow as he became visible, "HEY!! You are ginger! Go you!"

"Yeah... I figured that concentration is lacking. Heh no.. I don't recalling having done that type of practicing," Korii confessed and smiled. He was beginning to like this guy who still remained incognito. He seemed...fun in an odd type of way. Not bluntly fun but nevertheless interesting.
Breaking from his trance was the hilt of a katana in his direction. 'Cleaning the blade?' Korii hesitantly took the sword and sat down, placing it across his lap as he had seen his acquaintance do and even took the caution to place the edge away from himself. When Korii looked up, black eyes glared daggers into him and sent vigorous shivers down his spine. Goosebumps rose up on the young boy's fair skin. When the man spoke his voice seemed like something that could give Korii a nightmare...
Then it broke like thin glass that was shattered by something as little as a pin needle. The man's eyes reverted back to a gold color and his voice was more joking. He even called Korii a ginger. Something that he hadn't been called since...early middle school. Korii gave a nerve-racked smile and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
"S-Sorry. Err... do you think that it's okay for me to handle your sword? I mean... I've never held one before or anything," Korii asked after figuring out that he was hinting out that he was merely practicing magic. The reason why Korii's inner and biological magic radar has been going off a lot more often then usual.

Ash walked over to the little carrot top and reach his arm out towards his head then aimed a flick at Korii's forehead for being so dumb, "Well kiddo twould be a very good idea to practice that way yah dumb arsed git." he said and yawned feeling the temperature of the room going down and down cause of the stonking big chunk of ice. He yawned a second time an cocked his head to the side as he looked at the thing, "So Carrot Top you think it will get so cold down here that thing won't ever melt?" he asked him his eyes a sort of bronze coloured.
"Kid if I didn't think it was fine I wouldn't offer it to you. But I would be kinda funny if you chopped a finer off or dropped it on your foot." he said and laughed. "Now don't get worried about damaging to blade cause it was tempered and made and blah blah stuff with magic. So if you manage to dent, scratch, dull or break it I will pay you." he said with a sigh as he blew hair from his eyes as he set the sword polishing and cleaning stuff beside the kid, "So just do what I did, be gentle even if you cannot harm the blade, makes good practice and you may find it as relaxing as I do. Just don't go chopping anything off you hear? Cause I will not be able to help you then."

'Would it matter if it melted or not? Mmm... what if it floods the room and some kid tries to come in here to serve a detention! The poor student will have quite the stroke of misfortune..' Korii contemplated before shrugging. "Most likely not.." he replied simply, this time not bothering to question why he would want to know the answer to something like that.
The boy gulped as the man stated some rather sadistic humor but managed to ease up just lightly as he switched the topic to the making of the blade. So it wasn't breakable, it wouldn't dull, there was no scratches, or anything of that sort. Korii raised an eyebrow but once again said nothing. This guy was weird.. He cleaned a blade simply because it was relaxing?
Korii began to slowly repeat the owner of the sword's motions though not as fluidly or accurate. Just enough to get the job done for a regular katana at least that's that Korii thought they were called. He let out a nervous chuckle.
"Anything dealing with violence doesn't really hold much interest for me..." Korii confessed but continued to clean. If anything, cleaning the blade wasn't relaxing at all. It made him nervous and hesitate in a lot of his movements. "Music. I like..music. I play the piano to relax."
The boy smiled and let his mind wander for a few moments. The thought of his fingers that had memorized the notes, scales, and a few other music basics. They seemed to know the keys so well and the music being played, Korii couldn't help but find charming. He let out a content sigh.
